Who We Are
Our Practice
We are specialized in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders ("ASD") and implements interventions to reduce negative behavior and promote positive and functional behavior to children and adolescents in need.
Our treatments
To build a customized therapy program for your child, one of our highly trained Behavior Analyst visits your family at home, in your child’s school and in the community. Your child is observed and evaluated. After assessing your child in the different natural environments, our analyst will design a course of intervention. Then an ABA therapist is assigned to work one-on-one with your child. Our lead analyst trains the ABA therapist and supervises this process, and then continues to update your child’s programs as your child progress, in order for your child to reach more and more milestones.
Our program
The individualized comprehensive program is designed to teach your children new skills and reduce negative behaviors. The program is developed after the initial assessment and a individualized intervention plan is developed with data analysis and categorization. Every therapy session is 1:1, meaning our therapists word solely with one child at a time.
Our Therapy
ABA Therapy
ABA has been proven to be the most effective method of autism intervention. We use the Verbal Behavior Therapy type derived by behaviorist B.F.Skinner. By design this type of therapy motivates a child or adolescent by connecting words with their purpose.
Our therapists
Child Advancement Center, Inc., provides highly experienced and trained Registered Behavior Technicians, to provide services at home or school to our patients. Our therapists are closely supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts, who creates through and comprehensive plans that are tailored to your child's individual needs.
Family training
In addition to ABA therapy, we also provide family training services. Family training will help family’s learn the new learning style being implemented on your child and help empower the family unit. We believe it is vital to always keep you involved in the process of assessing your child's needs and setting appropriate goals. Family education is a valuable tool for “behavior awareness” and appropriate response techniques. This collaborative effort is led under the guidance of our Lead Analysts.
